DynamicPDF installation procedure:
2008-03-11 RSK



1. on the server

a. navigate to the Dynamic PDF folder

b. run: DynamicPDF301ForCOMServerEditionBuild61004.msi

c. follow the installation instructions, reboot the machine


2. run the DynamicPDF test program, i.e. www.domainname.com/testDynamicPDF.asp

Errors:
a. Could not create object? There is a problem with the driver,
make sure the driver is installed and loaded.

b. Path not found? Update the config.inc with the correct pathname.

c. Evaluating unlicensed DynamicPDF Feature: follow the instructions
on "Dynmic PDF ReadMe.htm" to generate a DynamicPDF.dat file.
This file must be placed in the folder:

C:\Program Files\ceTe Software\DynamicPDF v3.0.1 for COM Server Edition\bin

d. Access denied? Give DynamicPDF.dat read access for Everyone (or IIS user)



Additional Notes:
- If the machine has Internet Explorer 7, a patch is required:
a. IE7 patch: IE7-WindowsServer2003-KB945701-x86-ENU.exe

b. add/update registry key with regedt32:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\MAIN\FeatureControl\FEATURE_IGNORE_ZONES_INITIALIZATION_FAILURE_KB945701]
